Pimples and cysts can form on the scrotom. The skin is covered in sebaceous glands and hair follicles. A sebaceous cyst would feel some what like a small marble and is caused by the gland being blocked and oil/sebum collecting under the skin.

Ingrown hairs can occur as well as infected or blocked hair follicles. epidermoid cysts originate in the surface skin while pilar cysts form in the hair follicle. These conditions are benign.

If you have had the bump examined and identified there is no concern unless it enlarges or becomes abscessed. Pimples and/or cysts on the scrotom are not uncommon. There is not necessarily any connection between these dermal conditions and anxiety (unless you are becoming anxious because of it).

If the spot is disturbing you, consult with another doctor and get a second opinion for your own peace of mind. I wish you well.

You can get pimples in the genital area, including on your penis and scrotum. If your doctor examined it and wasn't concerned, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Since you've squeezed and ruptured it, just be sure to scrub the area when you bathe.shower and keep it clean.

It does sound like a pimple to me as well, since you are seeing some pus. Keep the area clean and dry and if it doesn't go away within the typical amount of time it takes a pimple to shrink and disappear, then I recommend seeing a dermatologist. I used to work for one, and we saw a lot of patients due to skin problems like this. Sometimes he treated the patient with low dose antibiotics to keep the area from breaking out. And yes, your doctor could be correct since anxiety can cause our skin to break out. In addition, it could be a irritation due to some product you may be using (such as sexual lubricant) which caused you to clogged up in that area.
