Depression Will taking fluoxetine for mild depression or anxiety make one fail a DOT physical for a cdl license |

I am not aware of any regulation that would prevent you from passing the DOT physical. The problem you may encounter is getting a job. Many carriers are worried about liability issues and perceived risks. There have been articles that indicate that some antidpressants can cause impairment in some people. Even if you have none of these types of side effects, the risk of having to defend themselves in a liability case is not worth it to some carriers.
