How to determine conclusively whether my political asylum petition will be genuine or frivolus?

I am an indian and has been perscuted by indian system I had been persecuted by persons related to politicians ,leading to hospitalization of my family members and non registering as F.I.R. in any/all of my police complints by police against my tormentors,for years , no answeres have been received to my police complaints and representation to judiciary regarding excesses to my family,This has been the situation where my family is in constant fear and anxiety leading to ailments such as fear psycosys and fear synodrome . Now i am in AMERICA .
And naturally , I would get a fair chance at life for my family comprising 2daughter aged 37 and 32. We are just in a condition of near vegetation due our circumstances of constant fear situation of persecution .
I want to apply for political asylum but want to avoid a situation of frivolous petition . what should I do to do the the right thing?
