I am 33 years and have been having ongoing heart papitations for 3 weeks. I have been waking up 2-3 times a night as if I had stop breathing. It happens about 3-4 times a week. I went to the doctor and had blood work done, a chest x-ray and and an EKG. Everything came out normal. The doctor sent me to a cardiologist who had me take home a monitor for 24 hours. During that time I did not experience anything. He then had me run on a treadmill in which I felt a couple papitations. He informed me that everything was normal and it was not my heart and sent me home. I just woke up about 20 minutes ago and felt as if my blood pressure was high. My entire body was tingling and I felt very fatigue. All the symtoms have gone away except the heart papitations which I am still feeling. My husband thinks I am having an anxiety attack. Can this be possible? |

Yes, it can be..You need to go to see the Dr, especially psychiatrist, it also shows weakness in you. Eat healthy and remain balance in your activities and sleep pattern, there must be some underlying issues,,or you must be feeling some sort of stress in the past. Body tends to respond to the invaders..stress is also a invader..But possible suggestion & diagnosis can be made through a qualified health professional.
Wishes for your health.

I think that the western diet can contribute to this. If your having heart palpitations and the doctor has ruled out any problems with your heart through various tests then you need to radically improve your lifestyle.
You need to drastically reduce your stress levels and relax. I really think that yoga and breathing can help you relieve stress and invigorate your body. You should also radically overhaul your diet and eat foods rich in alkaline and avoid any acid that could be contributing to this.
Regular exercise is essential for maintaining healthy bodily functions and I would definitely recommend cardiovascular exercise to get the blood flowing.
