With all that's wrong with you it seems like you would have all the things making you have some memory loss. And meds and depression will effect your thinking process also and you need to go to the doctor for his help on this and get control on the blood sugar problems because you have enough on your plate without being sick with any more conditions .

I am assuming you are on medication for the bipolar? Some of the medications cause deficiencies (vitamin) and/or medication levels to be too high or too low, depending on the medicine. There are alot of reasons for memory loss or short term medicine. Loss of reality, hearing voices delusions, hallucinations, disorganized behavior, lack of motivation, socially withdrawn, lack of emotion. It is a brain disease and gets worse with time. Violence is seen in patients in later stages of schizophrenia. It is a disease. Yes memory loss is a symptom however if you do not have any of the symptoms do not worry. Schizophrenia is seen in an MRI. The major symptoms that help diagnose it, unless you are leaving something out you do not have. If you are worried talk to your psychiatrist. Mayo clinic has a section about this disease and a great understanding of it. It explains it in great detail all there is to know. My sister has been diagnosed with the same things as you and has a bad memory, loses everything. I could tell her and by the time it leaves my lips she fogot. She doesn't have schizophrenia. Although in some patients with bipolar they do hear voices.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? I knew a woman with these symptoms and she had a brain tumor. Not trying to scare you, but you should really be seen.
