I have been sick and now, suddenly, my vision has become very blurry. It cheked out as 50/10 in left eye and 60/10 in right. What happened? Will it get worse?

I am wondering if this is connected to my illness or the meds I am on. I felt fine when I went to my GP for a check up. He is my new doctor. He found fluid in my ears. I told him I had experienced some ringing in the ears and some slight dizziness but not enough to concern me. He put me on Nasonex. I was already on Zestril for high blood pressure, Zyrtec for allergies, Nexium for my GERD, Trazadone for sleep problems and anxiety attacks, Bentyl for stomach and back spasms, B 12 vitamins because of a previous defeciency, D vitamins with calcium, Crestor for high Cholesterol, Ampicillin for sinus infection suspected to cause the ear fluid, Phillip's colon health and Alinia because of past issue with C diff and now added to this list is Prilosec because I am staying a little dizzy and nauseated. I also once in a while take an Ativan which was given to me to help control the stress of the death of my 29 year old daughter. My daughter had been injured at birth and as a result was never able to see, sit up, turn over, talk or even walk. She was spastic quadriplegic and totally reliant on me as her sole provider and caregiver. This illness came on me right after I started the Nasonex. While on it I got horrible migraines. The last migraine became so bad My vision was shot. All I could see in my left eye was a bright green blob. I had to be led to bed that night. The conditions that you have mentioned like high pressure, also high pressure in the eye can suddenly get worse, especially when combined with stress. I understand that getting your vision back can be quite slow process consiering yoru age.
I cannot coment on the medication the doctor has prescribed you, he should know better and i suggest you let him follow up your condition closely. Since nothing as dramatic as this has happened before this might be caused by stress or medication and is not a new condition that has appeared out of nowhere. All the best to you,

Hi Orchidjenny,

Jenny, you are a walking drug factory! Any one of the drugs you are taking can cause you all kinds of complications and that is compounded for each drug leads to another drug and so on. Why don't you just write a check to the drug companies and stop taking all of their drugs? You may be better off. No I'm just trying to jolt you a little, because this is not the place to get the answers you need, unless you are hoping for a Magic bullet... and... there is none.

Find a good doctor that will wean you off of most drugs and in some cases use something natural without all of the side effects or you can keep doing what you’re doing. It’s only your health and not the doctors or drug companies. They’ll try to keep you alive a little while longer; just to collect their monthly installments.

I can think of two or three of those drugs you are taking that I refused to take and I am better off for it. You can take the easy way out and let the doctors manage your health, such as it is, or you can take matters into your own hands and get some expert advice that will help you. I fired four doctors, so far, and will continue to fire them when they tell to me things like take a statin, because you are in a high risk group, even when my cholesterol was brought down to normal range with supplements. There's no help here, or anywhere else, until you take charge of your own health.

STEP ONE; Find a Naturopath and/or a Doctor that will work with you to get you off as many drugs as possible.

STEP TWO; Read everything you can find on anything suggested and make the better choice between the supplement or the drug.

If I'm being too blunt, it is only because it angers me to see people hurt and they don't even know it is happening to them.
