Headaches, with anxiety attacks ? There are a few indications here that i would like to have checked out for your health and blood sugar is one i can think of and also blood pressure but i see a lot of other conditions that may effect the way you feel also. and you need a lot of testing to get to the bottom of this which i can not do but another doctor can have done and get this under way now for your health . and i also would not rule out brain function on this and like to see you have a MRI of the head area and brain and also a nerve conduction test. so ask your doctor for this to be done and have this done soon.Just to be safe and also you need to look into medications for this or the problems you face with the headaches, with anxiety attacks.

A couple of thoughts come to mind when I read your post: 1) hypoglycemia, 2) anti-depressants/anti-anxiety med's.

The reason I mention hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is because it can mimic the trembling, heart racing, sweaty, yucky feeling you get when you have an anxiety attack. Low blood sugar can also cause bad headaches. You might want to have your health care provider double check to make sure that your blood sugar is ok. You should keep a journal and record when you get various different symptoms and what your activities were, as well as what you were eating. This will help narrow it down.

Anti-depressants, such as Zoloft, Effexor and the like can help ease anxiety attacks, but have the side benefit of also helping with migraines. Anti-depressant take a while to really take effect, usually at least four weeks. So be sure to give them a chance to work.

Talk to your health care provider for further help in dealing with these issues.

Good luck!

Migraines? Anxiety alone can cause the headaches but also low blood sugar or high blood pressure. Please see your doctor for a checkup, blood sugar test, blood pressure reading and possibly a specialty referral for further testing. There are some fantastic medications now a days for migraine sufferers. Also, please try to reduce your stress and eat a diet with the least amount of additives/preservatives. I hope that is a good start.

Get regular exercise outdoors. Adequate rest is important. Recognize the attacks for what they are. You have had them before, so you know it will just pass.

Stop ingesting any stimulants. Eliminate coffee, excess sugar, energy drink that contain caffeine or guarana and reduce or stop smoking. You may need to reduce your intake slowly so that your body does not have withdrawal symptoms. .Exercise every day.

Do you know the relaxation therapy?
It is very effective for this method to relax, there is a method of relaxation through breathing with relaxation music is done with a therapist sophrologist alone or in groups and when you learned this method with the sophrologist you can do it all alone at home.

When you feel a panic attack you get it you must quickly focus on something else so you do not think of anything else to stop the rise of anxiety, I know this is not easy but try to do.
You think of something nice if you can and then you lie down and you breathe fully and you exhale slowly, emptying your lungs well, then you do that again several times. You can also do that by sitting or standing there or find yourself but the best course is to lie down and you focus on your breathing.

Swimming is also very good, the water calms, it de-stresses, you can go to the pool to relax you and with you take baths with soothing essential oils.
The nature walks are also good if you can go take a walk in the fresh air it will do you good, although it's relaxing walk in the peaceful nature.

I wish you good courage.
