Is there a free way to get phyciatric/mental health coverage in North Carolina?

Someone in my family has been suffering from bad anxiety and depression. My insurance has a crazy 600 dollar deductible for all of my dependents for phyciatric help. Are there any programs in North Carolina that can give us free benefits?

I am unsure which part of NC you live in, however Katrina Fisher, LCSW specializes in Psychotherapy, Anxiety Disorders and Depression among multiple other mental health issues offering treatment and counseling both for Adolescents and Adults.
She accepts Cash and many Insurance plans
.
Also she will base the patients rate on their ABILITY TO PAY using Sliding-Scale.

Depending upon your family members income the session fee could be reasonable or practically free!

Her office is located in Indian Trail, NC, 28079
(Phone) 704-516-9830 OR 704-243-1678
If that is not in your area -a call to her office will get you information on a specialist local to you.
Either Katrina or a staff member will gladly point you in the right direction for help with your family members Anxiety & Depression issues.

ALSO contact The North Carolina Department Of Human Services in your city.
They will be a valuable resource.
You can locate their number in the Governmental section of the telephone directory.

One other thing-to me the $600.00 co-pay you mentioned really sounds as if it applies to IN-PATIENT services, otherwise each visit they would pay that co-pay and that is really way out there if you consider they will most likely be going at least once a month for treatment, medication and initial monitoring and progress with therapy.

Please call you insurance carrier and verify your co-pay amount.
Ask if that is for in-patient hospitalization OR out-patient services.

I sincerely hope the information is of help and my prayers are with your family!
