My doctor prescribed me tramadol and I had a severe reaction to it. What alternatives do I have I have severe back problems, migraines, and anxiety/depression. My doctor prescribed tizanidine(4mg)3x daily, trazodone(50mg) 1xdaily and tramadol hcl(50mg) 2 pills (3xdaily). I had a severe reaction to one of them, sweating, dizziness, extreme vomiting, migraine headache and drowsiness but not able to stay asleep. My previous dr. had me on zoloft50mg. daily, tizanidine(4mg) 1 a day, and gabapentin(300mg) 1 a day, and lodine(400mg) 2x a day. They hardly made a difference in the chronic back pain I experience everyday and he wouldn't try anything else, so I switched drs. I didn't have any reactions to those meds. so I want to know if my new dr. can prescribe something that doesn't make me so sick. I do work and I need to continue but I have tried so many drs. that haven't helped me at least alleviate the pain so I can

You are on a lot of medications! You may want to try some alternative methods to deal with anxiety and stress besides medication.
Meditation and breathing exercises are great for anxiety. Also, you should change your diet to eat foods that are high in serotonin such as bannanas, figs, avocados etc. Finally, get plenty of exercise and sleep. This should greatly reduce the anxiety so you don't have to be on so much medication.
