What are the best methods for overcoming social anxiety? |

Stop trying to fit in, and stop hanging around groups that don't fit in with you. Most of social anxiety is tied to being uncomfortable with yourself, and hanging around groups you cannot relate to, or are not like. If I'm in a room of guys talking about football, for example, I'm a bump on a log. Get me going on politics, economics, that sort of thing and I feel right at home.
